My Story
Rooted in Hard Work, Driven by Purpose
I grew up in west Texas on a farm and ranch — and that upbringing shaped everything about how I approach my work. Life on a farm is hands-on, labor-intensive, and a true family effort. You learn early that nothing worthwhile comes without dedication, and that the people beside you matter most. That work ethic has stayed with me my entire career.
College took me from Angelo State University to North Texas State University and eventually to Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. Somewhere along the way, Central Texas became home — and I’ve never wanted to leave. I started my career in real estate, selling homes on-site for a builder, which gave me an inside view of what homeownership truly means to people. It’s not just a transaction — it’s a milestone, a fresh start, a place to build a life.
That experience led me naturally into mortgage lending, where I could serve buyers at an even deeper level. I earned my license as a loan officer and found my calling in helping people navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. On October 16, 2007, my business partner and I opened Abundance Home Mortgage — and we’ve been serving Texas homebuyers ever since.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me on the tennis court or out in my garden. I still love the land — just on a smaller scale these days. Whether I’m helping a first-time buyer get their keys or guiding a long-time homeowner through a refinance, I bring that same west Texas grit and genuine care to every single client.
